I get so excited when September rolls around because I get to celebrate my wife's birthday for a whole week! Our birthdays are a week apart so starting on September 2nd (her birthday), I celebrate with a gift every day until the 9th (my birthday)! It's a Riley tradition every year!
It's so much fun surprising her for 7 days in a row with something different! I love seeing her light up!
Today is the 4th and this is how the schedule has gone so far:
Sept. 2 (THE DAY) - I made her a chocolate ganache cake and bought 3 different flavors of ice cream. Right before her special dinner, she opened her gifts from us. I got her some wasabi peas (one of her favorite snacks) and a set of 3 crosses that mount to the wall that have hooks on them to hang keys and such on. Our sister Spring got her a beautiful cross night light and then she enjoyed the special dinner from us: Salmon, chicken and bell pepper salad!
Sept. 3 - I had a special delivery for her from Keva Juice. She enjoyed a peach carrot twist smoothie and a stuffed spinach feta pretzel! Yummo! I also took her to the Clint Black concert in which I have a couple pictures for you below. Sorry for the blurriness in the second photo, you know how the lighting at concerts can be and how the artists are always moving!
Sept. 4 (TODAY) - She will find out soon enough LOL!
Sept. 5 (TOMORROW) - THIS DAY INCLUDES YOU! WE WILL BE SHOWING YOU HOW TO MAKE SUPER TASTY CANDIED NUTS WITH NO SUGAR!
