Pets are a huge part of our families. Besides bringing happiness & comfort, they can also teach us a lot of things…like responsibility, sacrifice & unconditional love.
Anita & I have always had pets in our home, & probably always will, though now one less.
Our baby bunny Obi now joins our other pets, his “siblings,” as he crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. I suspect around 1am.
We knew he wasn’t feeling well so we held him, kept him warm with a mini heat pad & fed him some water.
On a side note, I also am not feeling well. I came down with a cold Thursday evening, so your prayers for this as well are much appreciated.
It was late, after 11pm, so we put him back in his house with fresh pine & made him comfortable.
I was preparing my heart, but told him I would get up in a few hours to check on him & give him more water. We told him we love him, unknowingly for the last time.
At 2:08am this morning, I got up, & found Obi in a comfortable position, & permanently asleep. He was 2 years old.
Anita & I are a bit sad today, but God always heals broken hearts.

Thank you family & friends for your kind words & prayers during this time, & if you haven’t already, please subscribe to my blog from the home page. God bless.
