We're so excited about this tomato! Besides the hot color (I can't say cool considering where this tomato got it's name lol), here are some facts about this beauty!
1) It's an heirloom tomato.
2) Beautiful round orange yellow striped fruits, like the lava of the volcano Pu'u'O 'o' (Hawaii) where this fruit is named after.
3) Very juicy and sweet with a balanced subtle fruity flavor.
4) Medium high (5/6 feet) indeterminate plants.
5) Very high yielding in the second half of the season.
So what am I doing with mine?
I am going to saute it with onions and make my beautiful wife a beautiful salad to go with our teriyaki riblets!
