Hey ya’ll! Happy Labor Day! And happy birthday to my beautiful wife Anita!
It’s been an amazing weekend to say the least! Anita & I are exactly a week apart for our birthdays so we always celebrate them together for at least a whole weekend! Sometimes we go the full 7 days until mine! LOL!
I wanted to close out our weekend celebration with this blog post & share with our family & friends what we’ve been up to! Get ready for a few pictures!
So this year, we started a little early on Wednesday as we both had a present for each other that we really couldn’t hide! Anita got me a beautiful 2025 Lakota calendar & then on Thursday her Litter-Robot 4 I ordered arrived! Anita couldn’t hide the calendar because we share an Amazon account & I couldn’t hide the Litter-Robot 4 because the box was HUGE! 🤣🤣 I guess we’re even on the early presents then! 🤣🤣
Then on Saturday I gave her the other gifts, all 13 Star Trek movies!
Sunday after church we then headed to the movie theatre & watched the live broadcast of Daniel straight from the Sight & Sound theatre in Lancaster, PA! It was truly spectacular!
After the show, we went to Bass Pro Shops where Anita got me much needed new shoes for work! They are SO comfy!
And even though Anita had to work on her birthday today, it gave me the time to prep her birthday dinner & dessert!
Filet mignon & mashed potatoes with my bernaise sauce & my steamed green beans! Her birthday cake flavor this year was my homemade pina colada cake, including the coconut buttercream frosting, with fresh raspberries on top!

And guess what we watched while we ate?! You guessed it…Star Trek! LOL!
We’ll ya’ll it’s been a blast! I’m so grateful to God for all His blessings! And especially for the blessing of Anita…that of all the men in the world, He gave her to me. Thank you Lord!
